Hi, looking at coming out to Pas for the upcoming season, I've got a set of blades but to be honest I feel I've out-grown them really, is there anywhere I could purchase a set of ex-rental ski's around the beginning of the ski season, my budget is pretty low, plus I wouldn't be able to ship them back to the UK at the end of the season. Renting for the entire season is going to be silly money.

I'd say my skill level is intermediate, I love a red run but in a constant state of panic going down a black so I probably wouldn't notice the difference between a good set of skis and an average set, as long as they're functional.

Is there any market for this kind of thing? what I mean is, are the rental shops renewing every year or do they just run their equipment until it reaches the end of it's working life?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
