Hi Alex
You can find some useful info on our driving page.
In particular make sure you have snow tyres or snow chains/socks, or both. We'd suggest paying the extra and parking in an indoor car park which saves you the job of digging your car our if it snows heavily.
If you drive via the French border it is a quicker route but you have tolls, also check the weather before you travel and if there's heavy snow forecast then come via the Spanish border. If you come via Spain and drive via Ponts then there's a very good toll-free route.
Hope that helps.
Steve
