  • Hi Stan You wouldn't really find anything now for next season as it's far too early for owner and agencies to think about renting 7 months away in advance. They wouldn't commit to anything now as they hope they may find someone to rent all year round. They only let places go for seasonal rents quite close coming up to the season. The best thing to do is search around on Andorran estate agents. There is quite a few of them working all over different villages in Andorra and here at least you can s…

  • Hi I don't know anywhere in El Tarter or Soldeu that rents clothing but Rentaski in pas de la Casa does. Hayley

  • Hi Andrew That's correct yes all buses in Pas stop of the bottom of the village and you have to walk to your accomodation. Here's a link to our resort map that you can print out. You'll see the bus stop marked on there by the roundabout and the Alaska apts number 8. Pas resort map Hayley

Hi Lifts can be closed for many reasons wind being one, dangerous conditions, avalanche risk, bad visibility, broken. Days are very different from one to another. You'll see today every single lift in Grandvalira is open and only 1 slope closed which is in the Soldeu sector. You can't predict the weather and the problems it may bring but for sure if lifts are closed it's down to safety reasons mainly. Hayley

Hi Jinovich On Friday nights the Costa Rodona lift is open for night skiing. If you eat in the CBbc restaurant which is next to the lift they give you a free pass for it. It's only the black piste FIS that is lit however to ski. So you need to be a good happy black skier to be able to do it. If you want to book or have more info here are the contact details for the CBbc restaurant...telephone +376 683968 or email j.requena@calabassabeachclub.com Hayley

  • Thanks Rui Group lessons all start on Mondays so with you starting on a Friday your only option for tuition would be private lessons. You can only book them directly with the ski school so in this link here you have their contact details and information on prices Pas ski school info Hayley

  • The road is snowy, like everywhere else in Pas. As it's snowing so frequently these days the road over the top can be closed it's not easy to say when it is and isn't as the conditions change so quickly. I always take the tunnel don't even think about going over the top as generally am usually rushing around and it's quicker in the tunnel. They don't show the information on the road over the top on the Andorran roads info site as it's open then closed so much with the snow. They just stick to th…

Hi Chris If you book lift passes I don't think you'll make it in time to collect that afternoon as they start to close around 16:15, you can always try though as there should be someone there until 5pm. When you book them online you just need to hand in tthe voucher at the ticket office and they hand you your pass so it should be a little quicker than having to make payment etcs. The ticket offices open from 9am when the slopes do. The rental shops are open until 19:00 so you should be fine to c…

I don't know much technical about boards. Mines a Stepchild board and I know I love it. Hayley

  • loads of shops in pas for shopping, you'll have plenty of choice when you arrive. Lots of them are small so probably don't have websites. The biggest one in Pas is called Olympia but there are so many other shops selling boards and kit. Hayley

  • Next to that black run you see coming down to Grau Roig tou have a wide red along side it, Moreto or literally just over the top of that black maybe 20 metres you can turn off on to Cami de Pessons red. This is a flat track, very easy which then joins up with a blue half way down or the bottom half of the black which is not so steep at all. Hayley

  • Hi Matt You don't need to book your level and yes intermediate level lessons are in the afternoon so you would go along for that. Very occasionally they have different levels at all times of the day so if you wanted to pop by the school in the morning before 10am and there happended to be a morning intermediate group you wanted to go in then you would be in time for that. It doesn't happen all the time though but then at least you would know you're sorted for the afternoon and where to go etc. H…

  • Hi Heated boot storgae I don't think you will find I'm afraid. Though a normal locker you should be able to rent from Rentaski under your apartments. Hayley

Hi I'd say it's pretty acurate yes. Though it doesn't quite always feel 10 degrees when you have a chilly wind blowing too. We're having a warmish week but snow is due after the weekend. The slopes are in great shape. They're smooth and firm and really well kept by the piste workers. Hayley

  • HI Hopefully here's some answers to all your questions. If I don't fancy going skiing some day what else is there that I can do that doesn't include winter sports or being outside? There's lot of shops in resort if you like a retail therapy but all activities are snow/ ski based. You could take the public bus down the the Capital where you can shop, wander around seeing the town or go to Andorra's biggest spa Caldea. Is there a beauty salon close to the resort? There are a couple of hotels with …

  • Hi Kobby You will be sure to find parties all over the place and late nights galore if you want them. Underground would be the guarenteed party place along with bilboard and KSB open til late usually around 4am.

  • Hi Kobby All sectors are linked up and you can ski/ snowboard between Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Soldeu, El Tarter and Canillo both ways.

  • Hi Libby It depends how many days your coming for to if it works out cheaper to buy or rent. You can rent a jacket and ski trousers for €15 per day, so if you're coming for quite a few days could be cheaper to buy. I'd say you could find better offers at home then in resort too. You have so many shops in the Uk now having their own ranges of ski wear at cheap prices you could find a better bargain there than here. Hayley
