Hi Natalia, Yes there is one exterior jacuzzi on the outdoor terrace at the sports centre in Pas, just a small one for up to 4 people. Alternatively, there are two other large spas in Andorra with bigger outdoor areas where you can relax in the warm water outdoors (amazing if it is snowing!), the closest is the Sport Wellness Spa, this is a beautiful modern spa located in the next village of Soldeu. The other would be the well known Caldea spa which is situated in the capital Andorra la Vella, C…

Temperature in the village at the moment is around 1 degree, with the forecast set to maintain temps between -5 and 5, pretty perfect for keeping the snow in great condition and enjoying the slopes if you ask me.

  • Hi Aimee, As Gerry stated the main activity centre is situated in Grau Roig which is 5-10 mins from Pas de la Casa by car or easily skiable from Pas (provided you are ok to ski a red run). From here there are lots of activities available including snowmobiles and mushing. The price for the snowmobiles ranges from €42 for 15 mins up to €220 for 120 mins (these prices are per snowmobile which seat 2 people) with various different lengths of time available as well as night excursions. The price for…

Troy, Some hire shops will sell off their old rental equipment from time to time, can be a cheap way to pick up some decent (albeit used) equipment. Maybe ask around the rental shops when you arrive, depends if your timing is lucky really. Emma

  • Hi Dan, We aim to do so, they should be online during December at some point once most businesses have opened and we have had a chance to finalise what discounts they want to offer. Emma

  • Hi Dan, The whole Grandvalira area is linked so you can ski / board across the full 210km. The lift systems are very efficient with quick modern lifts on most of the main links so in answer to your question very easy, depending on your level of skiing / boarding of course, but most intermediates should have no issues accessing all six sectors if they wanted. You can access an interactive piste map here: pasdelacasa-andorra.com/grandvalira-piste-map.phpEnjoy! Emma

Hi Cho, The times listed on the site currently are based on last year and we have had no indication yet from the school that these are due to change. If the school decide to make any changes to the lesson times this year we will know more at the beginning of December once the school has re-opened, so it may be worth you checking back to the site next month. If you are comfortable skiing reds and blacks I would suggest that beginner lessons would not be beneficial to you as your level would far e…

You could also ski over from Pas if you are able to ski a red run. Emma

  • Hi Martin, The best places to head are Milwauke or Perla Negra (both located on Carrer Bearn), they both have Sky Sports and make an effort to show as much sport as possible, there are a couple of other places around that will have sport on in the background but these two bars will be your best bet... Hope you manage to catch the F1 and have a great trip! Emma

Hi Dave, I had a quick look in some of the electrical shop windows for you on the weekend and a GoPro Hero HD was coming in at around €230- €240. Hope that helps Emma

  • Hi John, Thank you for the lovely feedback. It was a pleasure to meet the five of you, I hope you had a great week and hopefully we will see you back soon for visit number 4! All the best Emma

  • Hi Nyck, I would say most of the reds in Pas are fairly similar, they are a bit steeper at the top (and the snow can often be a bit cut up as everyone enters the slopes in the same place) however once you have got over the first bit at the top they do get easier as you progress down into the village and the slopes pan out somewhat so there is a bigger area for everyone to ski on as you go further down. Just take it easy at the top (and stick to the sides of the piste if you want to stay out of e…

  • Hi Joe, It is cheaper to pre-book online, we apply a 25% discount to the in resort price for online equipment pre-bookings, once in resort you would be charged full price. You will also receive a package discount if you book equipment and lift pass together (min 5 days) which you will not receive in resort. Hope this helps. Emma

  • Hi Folks, We had a little bit of snow last night to begin with and it´s just started snowing again this evening, it´s coming down quite nicely, much heavier than last night. Forecast is for 5-15cm overnight then possibly another 5-10cm tomorrow. There´s also a bit more on the local forecast for Tuesday / Wednesday but it´s a bit too early to start getting excited about that just yet

Hi Mmtem74 I have had a look in a couple of shops for you this morning and the average price is around €70.00. If you decide to buy them here in Pas then visit our discount vouchers page pasdelacasa-andorra.com/discount-vouchers.php to print off some discount vouchers that you can use against clothing and accessories in Rentaski (on Avinguida dÉncamp) Hope that helps. Emma

  • Hi there, Not been in Hotel de les Pistes since the refurb but it has some good reviews on trip advisor and is in an excellent location. Food in Els Marselles is decent, they do quite a lot of British dishes amongst other things, not gourmet food but good to satisfy the hunger pangs after a long day on the slopes. Emma

  • Hi there, Cal Ruiz is in a good location, pretty central but just on the edge of the town centre so nice and quiet too, just a couple of minutes walk to the main slopes. From what I can remember it is a pretty standard 3 star hotel, basic but clean and tidy, does what it says on the tin really... Emma

  • Hello, It really depends on the type of helment you are looking for but you will pick up a decent brand from around €70 upwards, generally you will find good branded helmets are cheaper in Andorra than in the UK, however if you are looking for something cheap and cheerful then this might be easier to come across in the UK. Also it depends on the time of year you are coming, late February many stores will start putting on their sales and towards the end of season there are plenty of good bargains…

Hi Hopeyshere, We have worked for many years with a rental shop called Rentaski - they have plenty of lockers and are located just at the bottom of the slopes (alongside the Font Negre chairlift to be exact). The price they charge is €4 per day and the lockers accommodate up to four sets of skis / boards (without boots, as it is always better to take your boots back with you to dry them out). Hope this helps Emma

Hi Bluefish, Yes the snowfall in recent days has been significantly more than we have had in recent weeks and months, it started snowing on Friday and hasn't stopped yet, it has varied from light snowfall to very heavy snowfall at varying points over the last few days. It was very cold over the weekend but has not been so harsh today. Grandvalira have been making artificial snow constantly to top up the good layer of artificial snow we now have. Emma
